Brendan Fraser plays General Eisenhower in Pressure — Collider

Brendan Fraser dons the four stars and bald pate of General Dwight D. Eisenhower in Pressure, a film that chronicles what the movie calls the most consequential weather forecast in history. The new trailer places viewers amid World War II as the Allies plan the largest amphibious landing in the history of warfare.

Choppy seas and stormy skies threaten the operation, and one rehearsal has already ended in failure. Now the lives of 300,000 Allied servicemen and the fate of Europe hang in the balance. On Winston Churchill's recommendation Eisenhower turns to British meteorologist James Stagg, played by Andrew Scott, who delivers bad news: a storm is brewing and D-Day must be pushed back.

His rival, Irving Krick (Chris Messina), projects a different forecast, leaving the final decision to Eisenhower and raising the question of whether his choice will bring victory or prolong the war. Pressure opens in theaters on May 29, 2026, just days before the 82nd anniversary of the Normandy landings on June 6, 1944.
