Bucks visit 76ers in Philadelphia for Jan. 27 primetime doubleheader
Nbc reports the Milwaukee Bucks will visit the Philadelphia 76ers at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia on Tuesday, January 27, tipping off at 8 p.m. ET as the East Coast game of a national doubleheader.
The game will broadcast live on the network and stream on Peacock, with Noah Eagle and Reggie Miller calling the action and Zora Stephenson reporting from courtside. The night continues at 10 p.m. ET with the LA Clippers at the Utah Jazz, and the NBA Showtime pregame show will stream on Peacock at 7 p.m. ET; Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady will draft teams for the Castrol Rising Stars mini-tournament during All-Star Weekend.
The Sixers enter as the clear favorite, led by Tyrese Maxey — the 2024 Most Improved Player, averaging about 30 points per game and leading the team in assists — alongside Joel Embiid, Paul George and rookie V.J. Edgecombe. Milwaukee features Giannis Antetokounmpo, who leads the Bucks in points, rebounds and assists and was named an All-Star starter this month, but the team currently sits just outside the play-in positions; a win over Philadelphia would not guarantee a turnaround but would provide a boost.
