Bugged Charming 76 skin makes Soldier: 76 hard to hit
Blizzard's recent Loverwatch batch included the Charming 76 skin for Soldier: 76, which in some cases causes much of his model to vanish at range, leaving only his head and cape visible.
Up close the model appears normal, but beyond roughly 20 meters the rest of him disappears, making body shots difficult even though the game still registers them. Reports showed the issue in training and standard Overwatch modes; Soldier remained visible in third-person Stadium matches.
Skins and models have had problems since season 1, from victory poses like "snatched" Hanzo to an Ana Lunar New Year skin that looks different in-game than in the costume preview.
A Blizzard representative told Polygon via email the team is aware and said "it will be addressed in the upcoming 2.21.0.2 patch next Tuesday [Feb. 24]." Until then, players facing the semi-invisible charmer might prefer beam-wielding characters such as Zarya, Mei, and Moira.
