Cbssports reports that on fourth-and-4 from the Los Angeles Rams' 9-yard line, Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams retreated all the way back to the 40-yard line and threw to tight end Cole Kmet for a game-tying touchdown, knotting Sunday night's game at 17-17. Kmet got open after hand fighting and caught the pass in what the piece described as his "bread basket" on a last-gasp effort.

Video shows Williams' protection collapsed and his back fully turned before he gathered himself and delivered the ball more than 51 yards through the air; NFL Next Gen Stats specifies the 14-yard completion traveled 51.2 air yards, calling it the "longest" completion in the red zone since at least 2016.

In overtime, the Bears' defense forced a stop but Williams threw his third interception of the night when Kamren Curl stepped in front of a deep pass intended for DJ Moore and made a diving, bobbling catch. Matthew Stafford then drove the Rams into field-goal range and Harrison Mevis converted the walk-off kick, sending Los Angeles to the NFC Championship against the Seattle Seahawks.
