Cara Delevingne, 33, debuted a darker, shaggy brunette hairstyle at the Wuthering Heights premiere on Wednesday, Jan. 28, and showed the full look again at the Warner Music Group Pre‑Grammy Awards Party on Jan. 29, 2026.

On Feb. 1, Delevingne posted more photos of the style to Instagram, captioning the carousel "new hair" and crediting Mara Roszak for the cut and Laci Matteson for the color. Matteson also shared the photos, calling the shade a "yummy brunette" on Instagram.

At the Wuthering Heights premiere her hair was slicked back into a bun; she wore a purple and black corseted midi-length dress, accessorized with glittery black opera gloves, black heels and gothic-inspired jewels.

At the pre‑Grammys party the look was more low-key: Delevingne wore an oversize blue-gray pinstripe suit with a purple button-up shirt and a brown striped tie, matching her bag, belt and heels in a deep red tone. Her hair was styled in soft waves to show off the new shag cut.

Late last year, Delevingne used her platform to speak out against gender-based violence, telling PEOPLE she developed confidence in protecting herself and others and saying, "I just didn't feel like because I was smaller or a woman that I couldn't stand up to [guys]." She added that as she got older and dealt with paparazzi "it became about having foresight," and that "It's [also] just about remaining calm, which I think is really important."
