Celtics at Pistons to close MLK Day quadrupleheader
Nbc reports the Boston Celtics will visit the Detroit Pistons at Little Caesar’s Arena in Detroit on Monday, January 19, closing out a four-game Martin Luther King Jr. Day quadrupleheader.
Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. ET, with the game broadcast live on the network and simulcast on Peacock. It is the fourth and final meeting between the teams this season; the Pistons lead the series 2-1 and every game so far has been decided by seven points or fewer. Both clubs have remained relatively healthy overall, though Pistons point guard Cade Cunningham has a right wrist contusion and could be a game-time decision, while the Celtics have leaned on top scorer Jaylen Brown as Jayson Tatum and Josh Minott remain sidelined for the foreseeable future.
The full MLK Day slate also includes Milwaukee vs. Atlanta at 1 p.m. ET (Peacock streaming exclusive), Oklahoma City vs. Cleveland at 2:30 p.m. ET (the network and Peacock) and Dallas vs. New York at 5 p.m. ET (the network and Peacock) before Boston and Detroit tip at 8 p.m. ET.
