Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc to Stream on Crunchyroll This Spring

The highest-rated movie of 2025 on Letterboxd is headed to streaming later this year. The follow-up to the hit Chainsaw Man anime took theaters by storm with its bombastic, action-packed romance and has been described as "euphoric" by reviews.

Crunchyroll has announced the film will be available to stream on the platform this spring. No exact month or day were revealed, though the report says the debut should fall between March and May. The film first appeared on digital last December.

Chainsaw Man - The Movie: Reze Arc opened in theaters on September 19, 2025, was directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara and written by Hiroshi Seko and Kikunosuke Toya. The cast includes Reina Ueda, and the story follows Denji, a devil hunter known as Chainsaw Man and now part of Special Division 4, whose encounter with Reze, a café worker he meets while sheltering from the rain, sends his life in an unexpected direction as he pursues his personal dreams.
