Pagesix reports Channing Tatum is bringing the stage production of 'Magic Mike' to Times Square, with the show set to open at the one-time Copacabana building at 47th Street and 8th Avenue starting in October.

Sources say producers are tearing the interior apart at a cost of millions to convert the space into an authentic strip club that will transform into a nightclub after the final curtain. The stage production has already played London and Las Vegas; a West End show written by Reid Carolin opened in 2018 and is still running.

Apparently Tatum plans to reveal the news tomorrow on the 'Today' show, and insiders say he may even take the stage himself for a very limited run. Tatum produced the original movie based on his own experience as a stripper in Florida, and the New York arrival comes some 13 years after he first said the show was on its way; technically it will be off-Broadway.
