Chicago Med scene suggests Archer may be in love with Hannah

Nbc reports that the January 14 episode of Chicago Med, "Blindsided," raised questions about whether Dr. Dean Archer is "head over heels in love" with Dr. Hannah Asher.

The two are longtime friends who had an off‑screen hookup that resulted in a surprise pregnancy and have agreed to co‑parent. Hannah has described the hookup as a one‑time thing and has resisted pressing Archer into a relationship, but the episode shows Archer supporting her through the highs and lows of pregnancy and stepping in whenever he can. A surprise visit from Hannah’s father, Mark Asher, led to an awkward first meeting and a frank lunch in which Mark questioned their arrangement; Archer later confronted Mark and defended Hannah, prompting Mark to apologize.
