Chris Pratt told subscribers of the Happy Sad Confused podcast that Season 2 of The Terminal List will arrive later in 2026, saying every scene has been filmed and post‑production is underway; according to him six of the eight episodes are complete and the final two are still being edited.

The Terminal List originally premiered in 2022 and was intended as a miniseries, but its strong performance on Prime Video led to more episodes; the show rose to No. 3 on the Nielsen streaming chart with 1.1 billion minutes streamed, and a second season and the prequel The Terminal List: Dark Wolf were ordered, with Pratt appearing in the latter.

The MovieWeb piece notes that Season 1 was divisive with critics but scored 94% on the Popcornmeter, and that the spin‑off scored 80%; it also says Amazon executives rewarded the show’s success by handing Pratt a new contract. The article frames Season 2 as particularly important for Pratt’s career, pointing out he hasn’t had a movie hit since Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.

3, which grossed $845.6 million and scored strongly on aggregator metrics, while recent releases including The Garfield Movie, The Electric State and Mercy all scored below 50% on Rotten Tomatoes (The Electric State at 14%).
