Chris Pratt’s Easy-To-Binge 7-Part Series Gets Better With Each Rewatch

Chris Pratt is widely known as one of the biggest action stars in the world, though his reputation took a hit with his most recent film, Mercy. He’s also slated to return later this year in a new Apple TV movie that the piece says is poised to steal hearts around the world.

Mercy, a sci-fi thriller co-starring Rebecca Ferguson, underperformed at the box office and was quietly released on Prime Video earlier this week. The film earned $53 million against a $60 million budget and, while it has reached the top of VOD charts, it still faces a significant gap to break even.

Before becoming a blockbuster leading man in Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World—credits that helped make him one of the highest-grossing movie stars—Pratt first rose to fame on the sitcom Parks and Recreation. His comedic turn on that show also helped him land more varied roles, and he now headlines Prime Video’s Terminal List franchise, positioned as the platform’s Reacher alternative.
