Christina Applegate credits Facetune, glam team for 'mermaid' look at Married... with Children reunion

Christina Applegate credited Facetune and her glam squad for a ‘‘mermaid’’ makeup look ahead of a Married... with Children reunion at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, writing about the evening on Instagram on Thursday, Jan. 29. In her post she wrote, "I asked @owengould to make look like a mermaid on something," and credited Molly R.

Stern with doing her face, Marysol Patton with the Facetune and providing some hair length, and friend Lindsay Flores with getting her dressed. She also thanked David Faustino, writing, "Thank you @davidfaustino for making it happen. We needed a night of laughs." The Instagram photo showed Applegate in gray pants with a multi-colored coordinating blouse and a pin-striped trench coat.

Her blonde hair was styled in beachy waves and her makeup featured a smoked-out eye and nude lip. The gathering was billed as "An Evening with The Bundys" on Wednesday, Jan. 28, and included Ed O’Neill and Katey Sagal alongside Applegate. The series ran for 11 seasons from 1987 until 1997, and Faustino starred as her on-screen brother Bud Bundy.

Faustino told Extra in an interview published Jan. 27 that he and Applegate "talk often" and he hopes he is "being there for her," noting she "still makes me laugh." Applegate, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2021, has spoken about life since then on Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend (May 5, 2025), saying, "If people saw what my life was like on the daily, they wouldn't they wouldn't be able to do it.
