Christopher Judge hints at new God of War project, but news broke awkwardly
God of War—the original hack and slash games, not the 2018 reboot—is getting a remake that will feature TC Carson, the original voice of Kratos. Christopher Judge, however, has "hinted" at a new God of War project we might be hearing about this year. Judge said, "That will be TC.
The original guy … And then you'll be hearing about what we're doing, probably late summer." That "we're" seems to imply he is on a God of War–related project with Sony Santa Monica, though a degree of scepticism is warranted. The issue is how the remark emerged: the hot‑mic moment was reported on by IGN after they spotted it on the YouTube channel of streamer Fuzhpuzy, who was livestreaming at Canada's Fan Expo.
The video shows the exchange being recorded discreetly, implying Judge had no idea he was being filmed. Fuzhpuzy apologised on X, saying filming was not allowed, that she handed her tripod and camera to convention security when staff told her to, and that she did not realise her mic was still attached.
