Cinemark reveals Ghostface popcorn bucket for Scream 7, arriving on Valentine’s Day
Cinemark is releasing an officially licensed Ghostface popcorn bucket ahead of Scream 7, with the item expected to be available on Valentine’s Day, a photo obtained by Dread Central shows. The bucket is shaped like the killer’s bust, complete with a dribble of blood running down the forehead.
Popcorn is stored in a compartment at the back of the bust rather than the front, and Cinemark’s announcement included the line “Scream. Snack. Repeat.” Marketing is ramping up as the seventh film in the slasher franchise returns to theaters with a fresh body count. Scream 7 shifts focus back to Neve Campbell’s Sidney Prescott, whose attempt at an ordinary life is once again tested, and also puts Sidney’s daughter Tatum (Isabel May) on Ghostface’s kill list; Courteney Cox returns as Gale Weathers.
Jasmin Savoy Brown and Mason Gooding, who play twin siblings Chad and Mandy Meeks-Martin, are the only young core cast members returning after Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega left the project in 2023. Newcomers named as being at risk include Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos.
The film will also bring back characters who were previously killed: David Arquette returns as Dewey despite his death in the last film, and Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley return as Stu Macher and Roman Bridger, the killers revealed in Scream and Scream 3, respectively.
