Nbc will air the Los Angeles Clippers at Utah Jazz game on January 27, the first time the Jazz have appeared on the network since 2002, with tipoff set for 10 p.m. ET from Salt Lake City's Delta Center.

The game will be broadcast live on the network and simulcast on Peacock following the Bucks vs. Sixers earlier in the night; Mark Followill and Jamal Crawford will call the action with Grant Liffmann reporting courtside. The doubleheader is preceded by the NBA Showtime pregame show streaming on Peacock beginning at 7 p.m. ET, when Carmelo Anthony, Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady will draft teams for the Castrol Rising Stars mini tournament during NBA All-Star Weekend.

The Clippers enter having reversed a slow start and improved since Christmas, with Kawhi Leonard scoring, James Harden handling assists and Ivica Zubac averaging more than 11 rebounds per game, making them the favorites even on the road. The Jazz have struggled, never posting a winning streak longer than two games and allowing more than 127 points per game, and star Lauri Markkanen has been dealing with an illness; the team will need to tighten defensively to contain Leonard and the Clippers' offense.
