Corgi Steph Furry predicts sports outcomes and has grown a large social following
People reports that Lilo, a Pembroke Welsh Corgi known online as Steph Furry, turned a 2020 party trick into a sports-predicting act that now reaches more than 1 million TikTok followers.
Owner Denny Ku says the stunt began when Lilo batted a balloon into a basket at a family gathering and made her first official basket in June 2020. The family launched a TikTok account and watched view counts climb from modest expectations to viral hits; Ku says the account now has over 1 million followers on TikTok and nearly 400,000 on Instagram. Lilo’s predictions span basketball, football, soccer, rugby and lacrosse, and Ku describes elaborate trick-shot formats — including spelling W‑I‑N for playoff series — that showcase her personality on camera.
Ku says some of Lilo’s calls have been uncannily specific, including a Manchester City–Manchester United match and several Super Bowl picks, while others have missed and prompted intense fan reactions, such as a 2023 NBA playoffs prediction that matched the first five games but ended when the Warriors lost Game 6. Lilo and Ku attended NBA All‑Star Weekend in 2024, Ku says the 10‑year‑old corgi remains energetic, and the family is pursuing a children’s book, An Underdog’s Tail, and plans for educational content for kids as they continue making videos.
