Cynthia Erivo to play Dracula at Noël Coward; Northern Ballet and Phil Wang feature in 2026 round-up
A preview of notable theatre, dance and comedy for 2026 highlights Cynthia Erivo starring in a reimagining of Bram Stoker’s Dracula at the Noël Coward theatre in London, Northern Ballet’s new ballet about Anne Lister, and Phil Wang’s largest-ever standup tour.
Erivo will perform in a “cine-theatre” reworking of Dracula, playing all 23 characters in an adaptation directed by Kip Williams. The production, first staged in Sydney, runs at the Noël Coward from 4 February to 30 May.
Northern Ballet’s Gentleman Jack is a Yorkshire commission about landowner and diarist Anne Lister, choreographed by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa with Sally Wainwright listed as a consultant; it opens at Leeds Grand theatre from 7 to 14 March and then tours.
Comedian Phil Wang is billed as mounting his “biggest-ever” tour with the show Uh Oh; the preview notes his recent film debut in Wonka and gives a Barbican, York date of 11 September before the tour continues.
The round-up lists initial run dates for many productions and often notes “then touring”; further tour schedules beyond those initial listings are not detailed in the preview.
