Dave Coulier says he is in remission after two cancer diagnoses
Dave Coulier told Good Morning America that he is in remission after a "roller-coaster ride" of two different cancers in two years, saying he is healed following back-to-back diagnoses. The actor was diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin lymphoma and a tongue cancer.
He went public with the lymphoma diagnosis in November 2024, announced he was cancer-free in March of the following year, and disclosed a p16 squamous carcinoma diagnosis nine months later. Coulier said he still feels like cancer is in his "rearview mirror" and that keeping loved ones close helped prevent it from stealing parts of him psychologically and emotionally.
He gave a shoutout to former co-star John Stamos and Stamos's wife Melissa Bring for their support, and Bring has praised his positive attitude while acknowledging he has had tough days. Bring noted Coulier has lost family members to cancer and draws strength from them.
