Dele Alli is reportedly in line for a return to MK Dons, the club where he began his professional career. The 29-year-old, a 37-cap England international, has been a free agent since being released by Como in September and is said to have received offers from four La Liga clubs while mulling his next move.

MK Dons, currently sixth in League Two and three points outside the automatic promotion places, want him to aid their promotion bid. Alli graduated from the MK Dons academy in 2012, making 88 appearances and scoring 24 goals and playing a key part in their 2015 promotion to the Championship.

He then moved to Tottenham, winning back-to-back PFA Young Player of the Year awards in his first two seasons, and was a regular for England at Euro 2016 and the 2018 World Cup. His form dipped after leaving Spurs in 2022, with difficult spells at Everton and Besiktas and only one appearance for Como, in which he was sent off.
