Ever since Blizzard started reworking the clunky parts of Diablo 4, one issue has persisted: monsters drop far more loot than a player can carry in their inventory.
At first the constant stream of items can be entertaining, but it quickly becomes a burden as characters advance. It doesn’t take long to dread picking up piles of useless gear just to see what’s what on the ground.
When the endgame is a sea of orange, legendary items stop feeling special, and that dilution of reward is the heart of the loot-fatigue problem.
