The Disney Afternoon Collection is getting an updated release exclusively on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, arriving digitally on Feb. 26 with physical copies also planned.

The collection adds two Super Nintendo titles: Goof Troop (1993) and Bonkers (1994). Goof Troop is notable for being co-designed by Shinji Mikami, who later directed the original Resident Evil and founded Tango Gameworks.

The full lineup in the release includes Goof Troop (SNES), Bonkers (SNES), DuckTales (NES), DuckTales 2 (NES), Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers (NES), Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers 2 (NES), TaleSpin (NES) and Darkwing Duck (NES).

This is the first time the collection will be available on the Switch or Switch 2; the games retain their original art and controls but add modern features such as save and rewind, archival Disney content, a music player and an image gallery.

The six games originally released on NES also include speed-running modes and online leaderboards.

A news release notes the physical edition will arrive in May and include sticker sheets, postcards, milk caps and a reversible cover alongside the cartridge.
