Disney Lorcana Winterspell: Pocahontas, Darkwing Duck join - releases Feb 20

Disney Lorcana Winterspell is the trading card game's 11th set and kicks off its third year, with prerelease events on February 13, 2026 and a full release on February 20, 2026. The set is themed around snowy environments and centers on a story in which Elsa from Frozen attempts to stop mysterious vines and accidentally unleashes a catastrophic wave of ice and snow called the "Winterspell," forcing characters to contend with a deep freeze.

Winterspell introduces new properties and a slate of characters making their Disney Lorcana debuts, including Pocahontas and Darkwing Duck, as well as Angel from Lilo & Stitch, The Fox and the Hound, and figures from Mickey's Christmas Carol. According to the official product details, the expansion contains "over 200" new cards and adds new songs.

The set also brings new properties (ranging from Darkwing Duck to Pocahontas) and a wording change: the action of taking an inkable card is now described as to "ink" a card. The product lineup includes boosters and the Illumineer's Trove but notably omits premade single-player decks; it's not entirely clear why or whether more single-player products will arrive later.

At the time of writing, everything seen in the Winterspell expansion will be allowed for use in competitive matches.
