According to Kotaku, the DJI Mini 4K (4K UHD drone) is on sale at Amazon for $225, a 25% discount off its $299 MSRP and the lowest price observed in the last 30 days; the listing also shows no delivery charges and the offer is said to expire soon. Kotaku notes the Mini 4K is an entry-level, lightweight drone under 249 g, which the outlet says means it does not require FAA registration or Remote ID for recreational use.

The sale bundle includes the drone, a battery, a receiver, and other starter items. The drone features a 1/2.3-inch CMOS camera for 4K capture, with Kotaku describing the results as crisp, vibrant, and detailed with true-to-life colors and consistent, cinema-quality footage for everyday shooting.

Kotaku reports the Mini 4K supports up to 10 km (32,800 feet) of HD video transmission with strong anti-interference, has a brushless motor that can take off at altitudes up to 4,000 meters, and can handle winds up to 38 kph. It also uses GNSS, downward vision, and infrared sensing for stable hovering, and includes one-button takeoff/landing plus Smart RTH, Low Battery RTH, and Failsafe RTH.

Battery life is listed at about 31 minutes per charge for the single-battery bundle; Kotaku adds Amazon has two- and three-battery bundles on sale — $289 for two batteries (about 62 minutes) and $339 for three batteries (about 93 minutes).
