Coverage from Pcgamer reports that Dreamhaven, the company unveiled in 2020 by Blizzard co-founder Mike Morhaime, has a new tactics roguelike from Secret Door called Shadowstone, a 1–4 player run-based spin-off of Sunderfolk set to arrive sometime in 2026. Shadowstone is described as a run-based experience where players must escape 'shadowstone-infested ruins'; each run features randomized rooms and monsters, a constantly evolving pool of skill cards, versatile equipment, and adaptive powerups, and can be played solo or in groups.

Unlike Sunderfolk, Shadowstone will not include mobile-phone controls at early access and will launch with mouse-and-keyboard only, with full couch co-op planned for the game's full release.
