Dropout puts Game Changer seasons 1–2 on Blu-ray

Dropout CEO and frequent show host Sam Reich announced that the first two seasons of the comedy game show Game Changer are being released on Blu-ray and are available to order now. The show’s first season premiered in 2019, a year before the company dropped the CollegeHumor name and fully rebranded as Dropout.

Each episode plays a different game, and contestants learn the rules only as the episode begins. The first season includes the episode “Make Some Noise,” which later spun off into its own show. Season two features “Do I Hear $1?”, in which Ally Beardsley, Grant O'Brien, and Raph Chestang debase themselves for cash, and the classic “Yes or No,” an episode designed to infuriate Brennan Lee Mulligan.

Reich said digital-only releases risk disappearing into the abyss, and Dropout is experimenting with physical media as one way to avoid that fate. The Blu-ray is a bare-bones release with no special features or commentaries; Reich indicated that if it sells well, more Game Changer or other Dropout shows could follow.
