Movieweb reports that Idris Elba, Wunmi Mosaku and Martin Freeman have ruled themselves out of reprising Heimdall, Hunter B-15 and Everett K. Ross in this year's Avengers: Doomsday. The trio addressed the question on the BBC talk show The Graham Norton Show. Norton asked, "Are any of you in the new fancy one, that everyone's in?" to which Freeman replied, "Apparently not, not everyone..." Norton added, "That most people are in!" Mosaku said, "Rude!" and Elba noted Heimdall was killed by Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War in 2018.

A record-breaking cast announcement video released last spring confirmed a deep bench for Doomsday, including Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Vanessa Kirby, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Letitia Wright, David Harbour, Patrick Stewart, Alan Cumming, James Marsden, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Paul Rudd, Rebecca Romijn and Pedro Pascal.

The report notes Doomsday's multiverse setting means Heimdall could technically return as a variant, much like Tom Hiddleston's Loki, but it questioned whether Hunter B-15 and Ross would realistically appear.
