Emre proves there's life left in Overwatch season 1

After the Overwatch Spotlight revealed five new heroes, jokes on Reddit called Emre the John Halo of Overwatch. With his assault rifle, fast aiming down sights, and tactical grenades, he really does seem like a touch of Master Chief. At first he felt like a faster Soldier 76—familiar, uncomplicated, and easy to learn.

What surprised me was how Emre became the soul of the new Overwatch. His Siphon Blaster is a hybrid of survival and mobility: direct hits restore Emre's health, and he moves faster and jumps higher. Ostensibly meant for quick bursts of damage and healing, players have used it as a last‑ditch stall while waiting for allies to respawn.

His grenade is the most impressive part of the kit. It's not sticky, so you can bounce it around corners, hurl it over shields, or whip it high over walls to soften or scatter opponents before a team rush.
