Epic Games Store offers the first two Styx stealth games free

Polygon reports that the Epic Games Store is offering the first two Styx stealth games free on PC this week.

Both games star Styx, a two-centuries-old goblin who seeks to understand his past in Styx: Master of Shadows. He sneaks, steals, gathers information, and assassinates while exploring the miles-high Tower of Akenash. Master of Shadows features a "strong focus on hardcore stealth and infiltration," while Styx: Shards of Darkness continues the story with similar stealth and assassination mechanics presented with Unreal Engine visuals and a co-op mode in which a second player can join as a clone of Styx.

The two titles are being made free a month before the third entry, Styx: Blades of Greed, comes out on Feb. 19. To get Master of Shadows and Shards of Darkness, log in to the Epic Games Store and claim them; they will be free until Thursday, Jan. 22 at 11 a.m. EST.
