Epic gives away the first two Styx games on Steam ahead of Blades of Greed

Pcgamer reports that Epic is giving away the first two Styx games on Steam to mark the imminent launch of a new Styx adventure.

The article recalls that Styx was effectively the only stealth-game protagonist of the early 2010s when sneaking games were rare, and it notes that while the first two titles are not masterpieces they are fundamentally decent stealth games and worth picking up for free. It also points out that Styx is an unusually talkative protagonist.

The new entry, Blades of Greed, is due on February 19 and promises three massive fantasy environments, a Breath of the Wild–style glider, and heist-focused play from Styx's personal airship. A demo is available on Steam so players can try the third game before buying.
