Eva Marcille says she was 'amazingly horrified' by ANTM docuseries
Eva Marcille, the Cycle 3 winner who appeared on the show in 2004 under her maiden name Eva Pigford, said she was "amazingly horrified" after watching the three-part Netflix docuseries "Reality Check: Inside America’s Next Top Model." She said she had "absolutely no idea" such "horrible" acts occurred, describing herself as "gobsmacked" and saying, "To be a part of a club and not know what’s going on in the club is crazy," on CBS Mornings.
Marcille said she believes producers knew about the alleged wrongdoings — including bullying, body shaming and racial profiling — and at times fed into them. "That environment could not exist without producers aiding and abetting what was going on," she said, noting that after working in reality TV "on every level" she doesn’t know what is happening in someone’s life unless producers tell her.
