Experts pick Broncos, Seahawks, Patriots and Rams in NFL divisional round
Cbssports writers Jordan Dajani and Jared Dubin offered their picks for the 2025 NFL divisional round, with lines taken on Jan. 14 at DraftKings Sportsbook. On Bills at Broncos, Dajani backed Denver, citing a pass rush that set a franchise record with 68 sacks and noting Bo Nix's seven game-winning drives; he predicted the Broncos 24-21.
Dubin favored Buffalo because of Josh Allen, predicting the Bills 23-17, and both writers highlighted injuries for Buffalo, including torn ACLs to Tyrell Shavers and Gabe Davis and Allen dealing with foot, knee and finger issues. For the 49ers at Seahawks rematch both analysts leaned Seattle.
Dajani pointed to San Francisco's long injury list — including George Kittle's Achilles issue and absences such as Nick Bosa and Fred Warner — and picked the Seahawks 26-23, while Dubin also picked Seattle, 24-20, despite saying he views Brock Purdy as the better quarterback. Both picked New England over Houston (Dajani 20-16, Dubin 17-13), citing Patriots defensive pressure and concerns about C.J.
