Fallout 76 is free to play from now until February 5, carrying players through the Fallout Season 2 finale next week, PC Gamer reports.

If you want the NCR power armor seen in the Fallout TV series, that cosmetic isn’t free. The Fallout 76 Mojave Bundle, which includes the NCR armor skin, a Legion Legate outfit, an NCR flag, a neon New Vegas sign, a new super sledge, and a few other odds and ends, is priced at $30 USD.

PC Gamer notes the bundle is likely to go on sale eventually: previous bundles have discounted within a couple of months. For example, the Pitt Recruitment Bundle was $30 in September 2022 and was on sale for 40% off by mid-November, and the Skyline Valley Lost Treasures Bundle in 2024 went on sale less than two months after it first appeared.

The article also points out that Fallout Season 1 will be available on YouTube for free until February 11.

The free-to-play window ends February 5, and while the piece suggests waiting may pay off, it remains unclear exactly when (or if) the Mojave Bundle will be discounted, so players who want the NCR armor will need to buy the bundle or wait for a potential sale, PC Gamer says.
