Fallout Season 2 Episode 5 'The Wrangler' spotlights Lucy and the Ghoul in Las Vegas

Collider reports that the fifth episode of Fallout Season 2, 'The Wrangler,' centers on Lucy (Ella Purnell) and the Ghoul (Walton Goggins) as they arrive in Las Vegas.

The hour opens with the pair confronting Deathclaws and slipping into Freeside, where the Ghoul explains Vault‑Tec made Vaults for management and that his wife and daughter are in stasis. Flashbacks show Robert House (Justin Theroux) hosting a tech summit with Cooper Howard and Barb; House reveals he plans to acquire cold fusion to extend himself into robotic form and says his mathematical models once predicted the world would end on April 14, 2065 at 5:17 A.M. The episode also returns the Snake Oil Salesman and an encounter with Hank and his lab, shows Vault 31 escapees finding Vault‑Tec's offices trashed and the term F.E.V. (Forced Evolutionary Virus), and follows Lucy as she steals Addictol after an 800% price hike, kills a shopkeeper, grabs a Powerfist, vomits the drug, is tranquilized, fights back and then is discovered by Hank, who calls her his little "Sugar Bomb."
