Fallout season 2 finale mirrors classic game progression
Season 2 of Fallout has been a wild stretch — deathclaws, feral ghouls in Elvis getups and big reveals that made parts of the season feel like a covert Fallout 4 adaptation. Only a couple of weeks pass on screen, but Lucy MacLean, Maximus and the Ghoul have all changed enough that it’s worth asking: how much have they leveled up?
The Ghoul is the most experienced of the trio. After 200 years in the Wasteland and long stretches underground, he feels like a mid‑tier character rather than an endgame powerhouse; a reasonable estimate places him around level 20–25. His strengths skew toward Endurance — Cannibal, the inhaler that may keep him from turning feral (or be chemical and imply Chem Resistant), and Ghoulish — while his skill with explosives suggests Perception perks such as Demolition Expert.
Maximus begins season 1 essentially at level 1 but grows steadily through season 2, shaped by the loss at Shady Sands and his time with the Brotherhood of Steel.
