Prime Video’s live-action Fallout series has spent time in New Vegas as part of season 2 and has enshrined a specific New Vegas ending as canon for the show.

New Vegas, the setting of the sixth game in the Fallout franchise, offers a multitude of possible endings in the game itself.

Co-showrunner Geneva Robertson-Dworet told fans the series isn’t intended to overwrite those other endings or to serve as a definitive ending for the game.

The decision to depict one path in the show prompted concern among some players that the series might invalidate their in-game choices.

Robertson-Dworet’s comment makes clear the show aims to leave room for other player experiences to remain valid, rather than replacing the game’s multiple endings.
