Fans on The Sims 4 subreddit spotted tiny-home listings on Worldwide Steel Buildings’ website they say look like in-game builds, a discovery highlighted by Polygon after a Reddit post by user youandyourfijiwater reached the subreddit’s front page. Worldwide Steel Buildings typically shows real-life examples on its site, but commenters noted the tiny-home photos stand out as distinctly Sims 4–style, including interior shots.

One Reddit user wrote, “Being honest, I would love a company doing this rather than the stupid AI.” Other commenters suggested using The Sims 4 would be cheaper than computer-aided design (CAD) software. Not all reactions were positive or certain: some users speculated the images could come from poorly written AI prompts or assets purchased from a site like Fiverr, and others suggested the site might be a scam.

Polygon noted, however, that Worldwide Steel Buildings has been accredited by the Better Business Bureau for 20 years. Polygon and fans pointed to specific in-game items and details that appear in the listings—such as the Pumpkin Trio from Seasons, the Candle Making Table from Eco Lifestyle, multiple items from the Laundry Day DLC, in-game fishing location signs, and the popular spiral staircase mod—suggesting the builds may have originated in The Sims 4.

The article also noted tiny homes have been a long-running trend in the game, and a Tiny Living Stuff Pack was released in 2020.
