Movieweb reports the final teaser for Avengers: Doomsday is now available online, the fourth short glimpse following teases of Chris Evans’ return as Steve Rogers, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, and Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen and James Marsden as part of the film’s X-Men contingent.

The new teaser focuses on several Black Panther characters and includes an appearance by The Fantastic Four’s The Thing. It brings back Letita Wright as Shuri, last seen at the end of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever accepting her position as Black Panther but not as the King of Wakanda; the teaser reveals Winston Duke’s M’Baku has now claimed the title. Shuri and M’Baku appear with Namor (Tenoch Huerta) and his underwater kingdom, which has been stranded on land, and the teaser ends with M’Baku meeting Ben Grimm aka The Thing, a scene that sets up a collaboration between two technologically advanced groups and subtly crosses over with the Secret Wars comic arc.

The trailer also hints at death coming to the MCU and suggests characters must prepare to face it, while the film is framed as the project tasked with kickstarting the end of the Multiverse Saga. Avengers: Doomsday is described in the report as an upcoming guaranteed $1 billion outing and is due December 18, 2026; directors are Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, and writers listed include Stephen McFeely, Michael Waldron, Jack Kirby and Stan Lee.
