Final Fantasy 14 house recreates Phasmophobia's Tanglewood map
A Final Fantasy 14 player has recreated Phasmophobia's haunted house, 6 Tanglewood Drive, using only in-game furnishings. The screenshots shared on X by @ww_Yuki_www look so close to the co-op horror game that they can be mistaken for actual Phasmophobia images.
The build occupies an FF14 housing size L, the MMO's largest house, and omits the basement and bedrooms—likely due to system constraints. Much of the space in the biggest lots goes unused because indoor furnishing is capped at 400 items, so players often wall off floors to craft smaller, more detailed areas like this Tanglewood homage.
Yuki also recreated Level 974 from The Backrooms in a Final Fantasy 14 apartment, using all 100 of the studio room's furnishing slots. Resourceful players have long forced objects to "float" and combined dozens of items—painting Zabuton Cushions grey to mimic stone floors, for example—to work around the game's limitations.
