MovieWeb says first-look images from the upcoming Beatles film series have leaked online, showing Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Harris Dickinson as John Lennon, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr and Joseph Quinn as George Harrison.

The images were shared via the Paul Mescal Updates account on X and reportedly come from postcards Sony Pictures UK scattered around the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, with text identifying which actor plays which Beatle.

The tweet and photos highlight wardrobe, makeup and prosthetic work used to transform the cast, and MovieWeb notes the reveal feels like an unorthodox, viral marketing move in the current social-media era.

All four films are directed by Sam Mendes and are being billed as The Beatles – A Four-Film Cinematic Event; MovieWeb reports the project is slated for release in April 2028, with each movie told from a different band member’s perspective and all four planned to open the same day.

MovieWeb says it remains unclear when an official trailer or sanctioned gallery will arrive, and questions also remain about how the four films will share premium screens and how they might perform against one another at the box office.
