Collider has an exclusive look at the first trailer and poster for the psychological thriller Teacher's Pet, which centers on a brutal battle of wills between a teacher and a student at an exclusive prep school.

The film follows Clara Simmons (Michelle Torian), an aspiring young writer with a difficult home life who hopes to earn a Yale scholarship. After her beloved English teacher dies by suicide, Mr. Heller (Luke Barnett) is brought in as his replacement, takes Clara on as his teaching assistant, and soon develops an unhealthy fixation that turns violent; the trailer frames him as a twisted psychopath with dark secrets determined to destroy her unless she can outmaneuver him.

Teacher's Pet also features Clayton Royal Johnson, Kevin Makely, Sara Tomko, Drew Powell, and Alexe Godin, plus a special appearance from horror veteran Barbara Crampton, whose career includes Chopping Mall, Re-Animator, and From Beyond and who is next set to appear in Trauma. The film was written and directed by Noam Kroll (Psychosynthesis, Shadows on the Road), who also produced alongside Sheldon Brigman, Richard Handley, Kayli Fortun, and Brian Hanson; executive producers include Sheldon Brigman, Charles L. Bunce, Kelby Thwaits, Russ DeWolf, and Luke Barnett.

Teacher's Pet will be released on digital and video-on-demand on February 6, 2026, courtesy of Quiver Distribution.
