According to Goal, Manchester United interim manager Darren Fletcher has opened up on the possibility of playing his twin sons, Jack and Tyler, during Wednesday's trip to Burnley in the Premier League. Fletcher, United's Under-18s coach, was placed in temporary charge of the first team after the club decided to sack Ruben Amorim.

United head to relegation-battling Burnley looking to strengthen their hopes of qualifying for the Champions League, sitting sixth in the table and level on points with fifth-placed Chelsea. The club have been boosted by the returns of Bruno Fernandes and Mason Mount from injury, though their minutes will be managed at Turf Moor.

Fletcher — who won five Premier League titles and a Champions League as a player — has both 18-year-old twins in first-team training: Jack has three senior appearances, while Tyler is still awaiting his debut. Asked at a press conference whether he would make history by playing both sons, Fletcher replied: "That would be disclosing team information before a game!
