A flight attendant said a passenger handed her a closed sick sack during drink service on a recent holiday flight that turned out to contain tips from every passenger, People reports.

Brittney Bluitt told the outlet she initially assumed the bag was trash after the passenger said, "This is for you," and brought it back to the galley. Later, nudged to open it, she discovered $208 inside — money she said felt like exactly what she needed amid worries about affording Christmas gifts for her parents. She added that while tips do happen, they are usually "five or twenty dollars," and she had never experienced a collective gesture from an entire cabin before.

Bluitt posted the story on TikTok and the video went viral, but she said the attention mattered less than the meaning: the surprise prompted gratitude, she thanked God for the gesture, and hopes viewers take away a renewed sense that kindness still exists.
