Pcgamer reports the Steam page for Forbidden Solitaire warns players to uninstall it "before it's too late," and the article's author says they played the demo that dropped today.

The demo wastes no time getting strange: an eyeball in a wall offers upgrades, follows the cursor over gems meant for rings on a giant hand, and one purchased gem is reportedly jammed into the protagonist's flesh. The writer describes clearing passageways blocked by bones and ripping a heart from a shambling abomination while using a version of solitaire that mixes card battler mechanics and puzzles. Key cards can be placed on lock cards to reveal what's underneath, some cards deal damage or shield health, and other special cards extend turns or reshuffle the board, allowing chains of moves for big attacks. Cursed cards that must be matched twice also appear, and the game rewards thinking several steps ahead while forcing flexibility when unexpected cards show up.

The author says they cannot tell whether the demo is guiding them toward the game's secrets or toward danger, and compares Forbidden Solitaire to Inscryption. They intend to keep exploring the dungeon to discover what makes the game "forbidden," while the full game's details beyond the demo remain to be seen.
