Kotaku reports an in-game leak indicates Forza Horizon 6 is set in Japan and slated to arrive in May.

Xbox Infinite posted a January 14 screenshot it says showed an early ad claiming the Premium Edition grants four days of Early Access beginning May 15, which the promo implies makes the main release May 19. VGC says its sources have confirmed the release window. The ad reportedly reads: "Discover the breathtaking landscapes of Japan in over 550 real-world cars and become a racing Legend in Forza Horizon’s biggest open world driving adventure yet." The leaked promo lists Premium Edition content as Early Access (play four days early, starting May 15), VIP Membership, Welcome Pack, Car Pass, Time Attack Car Pack, Italian Passion Car Pack (coming post-launch), and two Premium Expansions (coming post-launch).

According to Xbox Infinite, the ad appeared while they were playing a different Forza game, and the ad’s authenticity has not been independently confirmed, though VGC’s corroboration suggests the leak may be real. Xbox’s Dev Direct showcase on January 22 is expected to confirm the release date and further details. Forza Horizon 6 is said to be launching on Xbox, PC, and Game Pass, with a PS5 port rumored to arrive later.
