Pagesix reports that François Arnaud has unfollowed the cast of the drama Heated Rivalry and other collaborators, trimming his "following" list from over 1,000 to 213 in the past week, per Just Jared.

Arnaud unfollowed co-stars Hudson Williams, Robbie G.K. and Connor Storrie, as well as series creator Jacob Tierney. The move followed sightings of Arnaud and Storrie leaving JFK after press week in New York, which sparked dating rumors and a wave of comments on X — some fans saying Storrie would be better paired with Williams. "Nasty comments and online harassment seem to have caused François to limit his online presence," one person remarked, while another wrote, "They need to leave this gentle king alone." A third questioned, "The comments and harassment is horrible and unjustified, but I don’t get unfollowing his cast members?"

Some fans expressed concern the online drama could affect Arnaud’s participation in Season 2, and the actor is said to be receiving threats. Reps for Storrie and Arnaud did not immediately return requests for comment. Arnaud has described feeling overwhelmed by his social media attention on the Sirius XM podcast The Morning Mashup, saying, "I’m like, ‘Oh delete Instagram now,'" and adding, "This is how it should end. This is my happy ending." He plays Scott Hunter on the show; Storrie and Williams portray rival hockey players and secret lovers Shane Hollander and Iya Rozanov.
