Friend vows to try to bring Cole Palmer to Manchester United
One of Cole Palmer’s close friends has said he will try to persuade the Chelsea playmaker to return to Manchester United. The England international grew up in Wythenshawe as a Red Devils supporter, made his senior breakthrough with Manchester City and is now a talismanic presence at Stamford Bridge.
Tunde, a Manchester-based rapper who recently joined Palmer on a break in Dubai, posted on Instagram: “1 day I will get CP to UTD back home where he belongs. Go ask him who his favorite team is.” Palmer has been using the mid-season break to recharge as Chelsea prepare to resume campaigns in the Champions League, the FA Cup — where they will face Wrexham — and the Premier League.
The forward has scored four goals across his last two appearances, including a hat-trick against Wolves, and has dismissed the transfer chatter: “Everyone loves to chat rubbish, don't they? I don't pay too much attention to it. You see things.
