Cbssports reports the Milwaukee Bucks fell 139-106 at home to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Tuesday, a 33-point defeat that included a public exchange of boos between Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Fiserv Forum crowd. The Timberwolves were missing Anthony Edwards and Rudy Gobert.

The Wolves led by 31 at halftime and finished shooting 85.2% in the restricted area and 52.4% from three. Coach Doc Rivers attributed part of the result to travel and “dead legs,” saying, “I knew this was gonna be a difficult game coming back from a road trip, having one game and then leaving tomorrow.” Antetokounmpo responded to the crowd with a double thumbs down and later said, “I thrive through adversity. I thrive when people don't believe in me,” adding in a follow-up, “I was definitely booing back. When I get booed, I boo back.”

The loss was the Bucks' second-largest of the season and their fifth by at least 20 points. Antetokounmpo has missed 14 games, trade speculation has been rampant though it appears he will remain in Milwaukee through the season, and the team sits 17-23 — 11th in the East and 1½ games behind the Bulls for the final play-in spot. With limited first-round pick assets until 2031, questions remain about how aggressive the franchise should be at the trade deadline.
