Two teenage girls filed a federal lawsuit on Thursday accusing a former Saint Ann’s School teacher, Winston Nguyen, the school and several administrators of soliciting naked photos and sharing them with students, the complaint says. Mr. Nguyen pleaded guilty last year to a felony charge of using a child in a sexual performance and five misdemeanors and was sentenced to seven years in prison.

The complaint says the girls were 13 when Mr. Nguyen first contacted them and that they were not students at Saint Ann’s. It alleges he pressured them for naked photographs and later “sent a revenge porn blast with dozens of explicit pictures” of them to his own students, according to the lawsuit.

When Mr. Nguyen was hired in the summer of 2020, school administrators knew he had previously served time in prison, The Times reported in December 2024, and at least one staff member who was aware of his criminal past unsuccessfully urged administrators not to hire him. He began as a clerk, was considered for an assistant role but later became a middle school math teacher, the complaint and prior reporting say.

The lawsuit describes how Mr. Nguyen impersonated a teenage boy online, built a Snapchat network that included many Saint Ann’s students, corresponded with the girls at all hours, sent masturbation videos and pressured them for increasingly explicit images and videos.
