Glen Powell in talks to lead Sam Esmail’s sci-fi film Tesseract

Movieweb reports that Glen Powell is in negotiations to lead Tesseract, an original science-fiction feature from Mr. Robot creator Sam Esmail.

The project has reportedly landed at Amazon MGM Studios and United Artists and is currently in active development.

Powell has recently raised his profile with roles in Top Gun: Maverick, the rom-com Anyone But You, the action film Twisters, and Edgar Wright's remake of The Running Man.

The report offered no further production or release details and concluded with the line "More to come."
