Google's AI assistant Gemini now offers free, full-length, on-demand SAT practice tests in the chatbot, the company said. Starting Wednesday, students can access the exams directly in Gemini at no cost. Google said it partnered with The Princeton Review to use "rigorously vetted content from leading education companies" so users are "preparing with material that more closely resembles what you'll see on test day." To begin a test, users can tell Gemini, "I want to take a practice SAT test." After completion, Gemini will offer feedback on where users did well and where they could spend more time, and users can ask the chatbot to explain test answers.

Google said it plans to add more tests in the future. The company also announced Gemini will power Khan Academy's Writing Coach, which breaks writing into four steps—understanding, outlining, drafting, and revising—and offers teachers a feedback-only mode or a more interactive experience.

Khan Academy's Writing Coach is available now for grades 7–12 and in beta for grades 5–6 in the US. Khan Academy will launch a Gemini-powered Reading Coach later this year that can provide teachers with insights on individual students and class performance, the company added.
